The Kuru Ware Story

Gaim Enguwal Kuru Ware traditional cultural attire and dance is taken from a legendary tale from the Gaim Enguwal tribe reside at Alkena in the Tambul-Nebilyer district, Western Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea. The dance is very unique and has a special story attach to it. As part of the traditional life of the Gaim Enguwal tribe, they perform this dance to remind themselves of their story and today it is being revived - a cultural centre has been setup and a tourist site and lodge has been built at Alkena.
